Mei Nan Bei (Southern America Chinese Soccer Cup, SACSC) http://www.sacsc.org , dating back from 2003, is a tournament organized by enthusiastic Chinese soccer players in Southern USA, which is held on weekend days just prior to Memorial Day.

Mei Nan Bei 2008 would be hosted in San Antonio, TX on May 24^th-25^th,2008, (Sat,Sun).

We would do these to help China Earthquake Relief
Our goal for donation: 1000 USD. Receipt would be posted on web. Let us try our best! Do best in donation!

Selling drink (cold), etc on MNB field: any profit to be donated.
MNB2008 T-shirt selling: any profit to be donated.
MNB finance: any left to be donated. It would be decreased to lowest by help from local Community & volunteers. So if any MNB finance money left, we local committee suggest to donate (if approved by Rules Committee). So sorry: NO free drink supply on the field by local committee.
Donation box would be available on the field, even many already donated.
Before every game, mourn for 1 minute (Teams on court mainly, more participating is better).

Dear all local volunteers, Neyso field, SA Soccer Association, Referees, Univ.Incarnate Word, SA Chinese Alliance(SACA) & Chamber of Commerce(GSACCC), MNB Rules Committee/organizers, all players and fans,

Thanks for all local help on MNB which impressed most team captains, especially from Neyso field management,SA soccer Association, Referees,Univ.Incarnate Word,Chinese Alliance(SACA) & Chamber of Commerce(GSACCC).

By all, there was the wonderful Mei Nan Bei 2008, the very FIRST Chinese Soccer Tournament in San Antonio,TX on May24th & 25th,2008.

By Mei Nan Bei 2008 and help from all, there is now the very FIRST Chinese Soccer Team in San Antonio, TX.

Thanks to all team-organizers, players, fans, and their families & friends on ' travelling to San Antonio,TX just to enjoy SOCCER together ' and any relevant support, who came from cities in Texas and Oklahoma, some even from New York, Seattle, etc.

Thanks to all MNB Rules Committee members and MNB law-makers for formulating all procedures and rules, though nearly blocked the internet by such frequent and hot discussions on web on MNB, just to ' make MeiNanBei and Soccer more attractive '.

Thanks to all referees who did their wonderful work and led us through 1-min mourning time for the terrible China Earthquake, where we know that a lot lost their beloved and many still in suffering and need help.

We local Chinese community in San Antonio is very happy on having hosted MeiNanBei2008 and met so many Chinese soccer players and fans here.
